Overview:
The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all types of floor surfaces, wall, and upholstered furniture. This position also may require other environmental services duties.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Certification: Gloss Tek.
- Experience: Prior hospital environmental service experience.
- License: Valid current driver's license; obtain a chauffeur's license within 90 days of employment
- Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
