About the Role
As an Endoscopy Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care to our patients. You’ll support physicians and nurses during procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure all equipment is ready and functioning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and is passionate about patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment
- Assist with endoscopic procedures
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards
- Perform high-level disinfection and equipment maintenance
- Support day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy Suite
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (proof may be required)
- Certification: American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience:
- 0–1 years in an outpatient or procedural setting
- Able to assist in low to moderate acuity cases
- Competency in both scope room and procedure room roles
- May serve as a preceptor for new team members
Other Requirements:
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Able to perform job duties safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation
