CT Technologist – Mercy Imaging Center (Full-Time)

Shift Options:
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Optional 10-hour shift for strong candidates: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Overview:
Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor and the Radiologist, performs CT examinations. Performs a variety of procedures which require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain CT examinations. Assists in the supervision of CT examinations, daily workflow and supervisor duties as assigned. Assists with scheduling technologist, equipment and other resources according to the needs of the patients and physicians. Handle confidential information and patient records. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy Health Center.
Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of an accredited Radiography program.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Certifications:
- A.R.R.T. registered or registry-eligible at the time of hire.
- Must obtain A.R.R.T. certification within six months of employment.
- Advanced Level A.R.R.T. certification in CT Scan required or actively working toward certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in MRI imaging.
- Prior leadership or lead technologist experience.
