Overview:
This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: None.
- Licensure: Food Handler within 180 days.
- Experience: 2 or more years of food service experience preffered.
- Certifications: Serve Safe Certification preferred.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written.
- Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
- Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer
