Overview:
Has the responsibility of answering 90% of incoming calls from providers, members, facilities and primary care offices as they relate to eligibility, benefits, claims, and authorization of services. This is a frontline position to the Managed Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) members and providers regarding the policies, procedures, and programs of the organization. Is responsible for problem solving and representing the organization positively to callers. Is responsible for initial intake documentation in the appropriate electronic health records. The expectation is that the Client Service Representative provides consistently outstanding service to our internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in customer service and/or health care environment
- Required Education: High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred Education: BA in psychology, social services, or health administration preferred
- Other:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and organizational skills required
- Must handle multiple tasks and demonstrate professionalism in handling calls under stress
- Proficiency in typing and computer programs a must
