We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst to drive advanced end-to-end development:

• Data Engineering – Build and create data assets

• Development – Build Power BI reports and front‑end solutions

• Advanced Analytics – Seeking analysts/data scientists who can work with Mercy’s large datasets for advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who combines strong business acumen with advanced technical expertise.  This role will support delivery teams with some business analysis functions while driving next-level analytics using Databricks AI, Databricks Agent, and other emerging technologies.  You will transform existing enterprise data into actionable insights, enabling predictive and prescriptive decision-making across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Utilize Epic EHR data sources (Clarity, Caboodle, and related reporting environments) to build scalable analytics and AI-ready datasets that support clinical quality improvement, operational performance, and population health initiatives.

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align analytics solutions with business objectives.

• Perform advanced analytics, including statistical modeling, forecasting, and AI-driven insights.

• Leverage Databricks AI and Databricks Agent to automate workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.

• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations that communicate complex insights clearly and effectively.

• Collaborate with engineering and data platform teams to ensure proper data access and governance.

• Identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies for improved business outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience analyzing Epic healthcare data models and reporting environments, with the ability to translate clinical and operational data into actionable insights.

• Strong experience in data analytics and business analysis.

• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, including Databricks Agent and AI/ML capabilities.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable insights.

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience applying them to real-world problems will be required.

Qualification(s):

• Education: Degree(s) in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, technology or related field experience.

• Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience or knowledge in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical field, with a proven ability to deliver insights that influence strategic decision-making.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Experience with cloud-based Azure data platform.

• Familiarity with enterprise data governance and security practices.

• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
