Overview:

The Advanced Health Information Management Technician is responsible for overseeing the organization, maintenance, and security of patient health information within healthcare organizations. This role requires expertise in health information management systems, data analysis, and compliance regulations to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of health records. The technician will also train and mentor all new HIM coworkers in all functional areas.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical terminology.
• Experience: 2 years in HIM/medical records; 1 year experience with Release of Information, Master Patient Index, and/or Analysis.
