Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. Our practice provides clincal hours for Nurse Practitioner students; a candidate would need to be willing to make themselves available for questions while we help train the next professionals in the healthcare industry.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including managing complex medical conditions.
- Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients about their health conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Experience
- Board certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric emergency medicine is a plus.
