What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renovations Tech position at Mercy Ridge Inc?
Mercy Ridge Retirement Community is seeking a Renovations Technician to join our Facilities team! This is a full time non-exempt position, which may include overtime on an as needed basis. This position is primarily responsible for performing apartment renovation services to include demolition, construction and installation of walls and cabinets as well as electrical, plumbing, mechanical, general maintenance, painting, and punch-list corrections for the Mercy Ridge residential units.
Additionally, this position may be responsible for special projects and/or general and preventative maintenance repairs on all physical structures and certain facility equipment, as well as grounds maintenance, storm clean-up and snow removal in compliance with established safety rules, policies and procedures.
The position requires the ability and willingness to be on an On-Call/Weekend rotation which occurs approximately 4 times per year.
This position requires a High School education or GED; graduate of accredited technical school preferred (but not required). Also required is a minimum of one to three years of hands-on maintenance, construction and/or mechanical experience.
