What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Mercy Plus Autism Services?
Qualifications:
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviors.
- Ability to navigate technology and apps to collect data and communicate with supervisors
- Ability to provide one on one ABA therapy
- Working in accordance with a team
- Understand how to take feedback and improve the skill set
- Be willing to travel to various locations within the employment area.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to uphold all laws, regulations and company policy.
- Proof of a negative TB test
- Ability to pass a background check and prove auto insurance
- Calm demeanor under pressure
- Must be willing to have all behavior modules and/or 40-hour in-house training completed through Mercy Plus
- Transportation may be required for certain clients
After training week you will be scheduled Part time based on your Availability and Client need.
