This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Job Requirements
Required
- A minimum of 5 years advanced training as a Cath Lab Technologist required.
- Associates Degree required.
- Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS).
- Must possess and maintain a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate (ACLS).
- Must possess and maintain a current California radiography certificate.
- Must possess and maintain a current national registry certificate (ARRT) or Registered Technologist Bone Density (RTBD), or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT), or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography (RTCV), or Registered Technologist Mammography (RTM), or Registered Technologist Magnetirc Resonance Imaging (RTMR), or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN), or Registered Technologist Quality Management (RTQM), or Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy (RRT), or Registered Technologist Vascular Interventional Rad (RTVI), or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RTVS) and
- Must possess and maintain a current Fluoroscopy certification FLRAD:CA)
- Excellent communications skills, advanced knowledge of interventional cardiac peripheral and endovascular related procedures.
- Time Management scheduling staff effectively..
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with nursing and technical staff. Able to lead direct staff in fast paced sometimes stressful environment.
- Must possess and maintain a current national registry certificate (ARRT).
Preferred
- Bachelors Degree.
- Current RCVT certification
- Current RCIS certification
