To assist with resident care by providing unit- based services that do not require certification.
Essential Functions
- Assists with resident food and hydration by passing trays, providing fresh water in rooms, providing hands-on dining assistance and overseeing the operations of the dining room at mealtimes.
- Assists with resident transportation by providing internal and out of the facility escort services as needed.
- Attends to resident personal clothing by performing laundry services, cleaning closets/dressers/drawers, labelling items as necessary.
- Attends to unit environmental needs by making unoccupied beds, keeping linen rooms/carts neat and orderly, keeping nourishment refrigerator clean and orderly, re-stocking supplies in residents rooms as needed.
- Assists with reducing clutter in resident rooms.
