Responsibilities

• Microbiology-Split shift 11 am to 7:30 am working every other Saturday.
• Responsible for setting up specimens, reading gram stain, running PCR and multiplex panels. Perform Stat and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Ability to multi task and prioritize task during high volume periods. Participates in other task as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements

• A B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program.
• A B.S in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS or HHS sanctioned reviewer, ASCP accreditation or equivalent.
• A B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science degree that includes 60 semester hours of medical lab technology courses or other sciences as specified by CLIA. 5 years experience in a licensed Clinical laboratory.
• BS with Medical Technology training preferred
• A M.T. or MLS (ASCP) certification preferred

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
