Responsibilities
Participates as a member of the Department of Pharmacy to execute the clinical functions of the Department, with minimal distributive responsibility. Provides expertise to Mercy Health Services to enhance the appropriate, cost effective use of medications, and provides consultative services related to specialty areas of expertise. Is a resource in supporting the clinical skills of other pharmacists in the Department to assure the highest quality pharmaceutical care for Mercy patients.
As a pharmacist, demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to access data reflective of the patient's status. He/she must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age specific needs and provides care as described in the Department's Policies and Procedures.

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Requirements
- Must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a school of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.
- An accredited residency in Hospital Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice or equivalent preferred.
- Three years post-doctoral experience in a hospital environment preferred. Residency may count as one year.
- Experience in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic strongly preferred.
- Must be licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Maryland.
