The Vice President-Quality is the lead executive overseeing improvements in quality of care, reduction of harm to patients and adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
This position provides the strategic direction for reducing preventable harm, attaining unsurpassed clinical and patient-reported outcomes, and building facility- and community-wide participation through transparency, collaboration, and mutual learning. Working in partnership with senior administrative and medical staff leadership, the position will oversee the institutional approach to care transformation and lead a comprehensive quality/performance improvement program, including but not limited to Clinical Improvement, Patient Safety, Regulatory and Accreditation, Infection Prevention and Patient Relations.

Required Education/Skills/Experience
Master's Degree required in Health care administration or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of direct healthcare management and quality improvement experience

Position Details:
Required Education/Skills/Experience
Master's Degree required in Health care administration or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of direct healthcare management and quality improvement experience
Desired Skills And Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in clinical quality, safety, regulatory, performance improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean, A3, PDCA)
- Detailed knowledge in areas of quality and patient safety, measurement and data analysis, quality and patient safety related public reporting requirements, process improvement, healthcare processes, facilitation, coaching and team building
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation;
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations and accreditation standards, including CMS, Joint Commission, other
- Ability to prioritize quality improvement strategies and choose how best to narrow quality gaps for clinical programs and outcomes and proven ability to achieve results
- Systematic thinking with demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives
