How you’ll contribute
An Assessment Coordinator who excels in this role:
Provides clerical support to the assessment team and acts as back up to front desk reception. Enters information into the system accurately.- Maintains appropriate stock of paperwork/forms and supplies to support the assessment department.
- Checks in patient belongings with accuracy and documents appropriately.
- Processes consent forms and coordinates admission paperwork for unit.
- Provides assistance to other units and departments as needed.
- Sends appropriate documentation to referral sources in the appropriate timeframe.
- Provides assistance with discharges.
- Schedules appointments for incoming assessments paying close attention to the needs of the patient.
- Assists in the orientation of patients to units and to outpatient programs.

- Other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
