Job Summary and Responsibilities
While supporting the goals and objectives of the hospital and upholding the ethics of the profession of pharmacy, the Manager Clinical Pharmacy facilitates the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. This position serves as a professional practice leader, educator, and mentor and has an advanced practice role functioning as a clinical specialist both within the pharmacy and within interdisciplinary teams. The position will report to the Director of Pharmacy. This position will play a key role in managing operations, logistics, finance, safety, and risk management for the pharmacy department
Job Requirements
Required:
- B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy experience
- Minimum of 1 year in a leadership position or pharmacy residency completed or supplemental Masters Degree (MBA, MS, MHA, etc)
- Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
