Mercy Dental Missions is currently hiring for a highly motivated, full-time Dental Assistant! We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who is already cross-trained in both clinical and front office duties. The ideal candidate is comfortable assisting chairside as well as supporting the front desk with scheduling and patient communication.

Work Schedule:
- Monday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
- Tuesday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
- Wednesday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
- Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
- Occasional Friday hours
- No weekends!!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Chair-side assisting
- Setting up treatment rooms in preparation for patients
- Taking down and cleaning treatment rooms
- Instrument sterilization
- Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilization, and lab
- Patient follow up calls
- Taking x-rays and 3D images
- The ability to step into various roles and wear different hats with volunteers and team
- Cross-train and perform duties in both dental assisting and front office operations as needed
Position Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to deal effectively with multiple personalities at all levels
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in all aspects with enthusiasm
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Salary:
- $20/hr - $26/hr

- Dental: 1 year of dental assisting experience
