Position Purpose
Mercy Care is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable 340B Program Administrator to lead and manage our 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role ensures compliance, drives program optimization, and supports our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care to underserved communities. The Administrator will serve as a subject matter expert, overseeing contract pharmacy relationships, analytics, and regulatory adherence while mentoring staff and supporting business development.
What You Will Do
- Lead 340B program operations, ensuring compliance with HRSA, OPA, and Medicaid regulations.
- Oversee internal and external audits, HRSA recertification, and child site registrations.
- Manage contract pharmacy relationships and third-party administrator (TPA) software.
- Analyze financial performance, prepare drug spend forecasts, and support revenue optimization.
- Collaborate with pharmacy, finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate billing, inventory, and data integrity.
- Train and mentor staff, lead quality improvement initiatives, and implement new technologies.
- Monitor drug procurement, pricing exclusions, and shortages to ensure cost-effective alternatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in retail or hospital pharmacy, with direct 340B program experience.
- Preferred: Business operations, analytics, or revenue cycle experience.
- Licensure: 340B operations certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire); pharmacy technician licensure preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office
