We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Store Manager to lead our new Bellingham location! If you're a natural leader with a heart for hospitality, a drive for operational excellence, and a love for coffee culture, this may be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
As a Store Manager, you’ll be the heart of your store—responsible for operations, leadership, and delivering an unforgettable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all store operations with excellence and efficiency.
- Uphold our service standards and ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
- Coach and develop a team of baristas to deliver exceptional service and hit performance goals.
- Recruit, train, onboard, and retain top talent.
- Coordinate deliveries from Mercurys Headquarters to local storage units and manage transfers to the store.
- Oversee inventory management, POS usage, till balancing, and banking accuracy.
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation protocols are followed.
- Resolve customer issues with care, speed, and professionalism.
- Act as the on-site liaison for community donations, feedback, and promotional initiatives.
- Communicate store needs and escalate issues to upper management as necessary.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- 1 year of retail/food service management experience (or 6 months as a Lead Barista at Mercurys).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a proven ability to motivate teams.
- Reliable transportation and availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid food handler permit (or ability to obtain one).

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
