Job Summary:

The Associate Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions.
- Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
- Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
- Perform various mechanical operations under a microscope up to 50% of the time
- Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Install and route cables in small form factor assemblies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires one year or less of mechanical assembly experience.
- Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with assembly drawings/procedures.
- Must be comfortable working under a microscope.
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
- Work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronics assembly and inspection experience
- IPC-610 experience
- Hands-on experience building PCs
- Hands-on experience with torque values and other mechanical rework
- Experience with cable management

- Requires good manual dexterity and coordination, and stamina. Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
