Description:
Mercury Systems Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Machine Operator to operate Selective Solder, Press Fit and Depanel machines. Candidates must have the ability to:
- Start up, operate, and maintain selective solder, press fir and depanel machines
- Perform prep and manual insertion of through hole components
- Masking of PCB assemblies
- Identify electronic components
- Read and understand assembly drawings
- Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with ICP 610 and J-STD 001 standards
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Typically 1-3 years of machine operation experience
- Follow all PPE, safety, and environmental compliance procedures.
- Requires intermediate computer skills
- Must be able to manually lift up to 30 pounds
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work overtime as necessary
- Safe and accurate machine operation with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in soldering, preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
- Must be able to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones
- Must be able to communicate well and function in a team environment
