Position Summary:
- The Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring all incoming shipments are received, inspected, and accurately recorded, while maintaining organized inventory and supporting production needs.
- This role also requires operating a company vehicle to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between company locations and vendors. A class C license is required within 90 days of employment.
- The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational flow, and ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
- Receiving and Inventory Control - Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips and purchase orders
- Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly - Accurately enter received goods into the inventory system -
- Label, tag, and properly store inventory in designated locations -
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of receiving and storage areas -
- Communicate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality regarding incoming materials and shortages -
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
Driving and Material Transport -
- Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials, parts, and supplies to vendors, customers, or between company locations
- Ensure materials are properly secured during transport -
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs -
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
Operational Support
- Assist production with material movement and staging as needed -
- Support shipping activities when required -
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of receiving records -
- Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications -
Required -
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record -
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (or ability to become certified) -
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately -
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs -
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications: -
Preferred -
- Previous receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience -
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems -
- Forklift certification

Indoor and outdoor driving in various weather conditions

Salary : $18 - $20
