Job Duties:
- Develop new and refine existing equipment and processes to reduce scrap, rework and product cost
- Work in tandem with supervisory staff to meet production requirements
- Independently manage a portfolio of projects to find and fix the root cause and part quality issues
- Prepare and document work instructions to maintain ISO compliance
- Use Continuous Improvement tools and processes like DMAIC to improve the processes
- Investigate, propose and manage large capital projects
- Act as a liaison between design engineering and manufacturing personnel
- Work with a team to develop new processes for new products and using HPPD (High performance Product Development) process when applicable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required
- 3 years of CNC machining, grinding, and/or robotics experience required
