Regional Sales Manager - Automation Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 Package: Bonus, Car Allowance, 20 Days PTO, Medical, Eyecare, Dental, 401k Location: Home based / Field based in Houston You’ll be selling custom built, fully automated bulk packaging, Vertical Form Fill Seal systems with an average order value of $2 million. Every deal is engineered, custom made, and operationally critical to your customer’s business. No two deals are the sameA career within a global group turning over more than $1.5b What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll proactively own the full commercial lifecycle for your territory: Developing and executing a strategic sales plan across HoustonManaging and growing key accounts while identifying new project opportunitiesLeading complex, consultative sales processes from first conversation to contract signatureConducting site surveys and working closely with customers to define technical and operational requirementsWriting and presenting detailed commercial proposals and forecastsNegotiating with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teamsWorking cross functionally with engineering, project delivery, and service teams to ensure flawless execution This is a field-based role with regular customer visits. You’ll manage your own diary, priorities, and pipeline like a professional. What We’re Looking For: Educated in Engineering at degree level or above: Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.Automation sales experience - within Packaging would be beneficialAn ambitious, hard working attitude. Experience within hands on engineering roles will also be advantageous.Clear and concise communication skills to ensure you can lead client projects.
