Pay Rate $20.00-$22.00 hourly
Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Production Scheduler. We are seeking an outgoing individual, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Review and maintain the production status of customer orders and materials for those orders.
- Collaborate with production team leaders, materials group, and purchasing to determine progress of work and completion dates then providing sales with dates of completion.
- Expedite customer orders and materials for those orders.
- Maintain customer shipping schedules for production, inspection and shipping.
- Maintain web-based status of customer orders.
- Maintain records of order re-schedules from customers.
- Creating spreadsheets, letters, forms and other documents
- Completing special assignments and projects
- One to two years of related experience and/or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have the ability to communicate appropriately with different levels of employees, from production employees to the President.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate technical data clearly (both in writing and verbally)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
- Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and rulers accurately
- General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as managing files and records, use of desktop computers, and common office equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Experience working for contract manufacturing companies
- Ability to read and fully understand many different forms of documentation including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, and other forms of documentation
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics and apply to electrical assembly details
