Document Control Specialist

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Document Control Specialist. We are seeking a positive team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a position with high visibility and great potential for advancement.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Issue approved manufacturing procedures, specification, production drawings, and Bill of Materials to the production department as a result of the pre-production activities
• Ensure all documents remain legible and readily retrievable
• Retrieve and re-issue documents affected by revision changes
• File Electronic copies of documents on computer systems
• Verify warranty status and document details in ERP
• Respond to customer and supplier returns per procedures in Quality Manual
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
• Excellent typing and ten-key skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently
• Experience with the following software is required:
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• Internet Explorer or other web browsers
• Experience with the following preferred, but not required (will train):
• Quality Documentation
• Database and/or ERP systems
• Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus.
• Candidates must have the ability to occasionally work overtime.
