What are the responsibilities and job description for the Venture Partnerships (Venture Capital & Private Equity) position at Mercurius Media Capital?
Mercurius Media Capital
Mercurius Media Capital (MMC) is the first dedicated U.S. media for equity investment fund that empowers high‑potential startups and enterprises through strategic media investments. We leverage a unique media for equity model, supported by a strong network of top‑tier media companies, to enhance companies’ market presence, amplify brand visibility, and drive meaningful business growth.
Our Mission
Our primary mission is to support U.S.-based startups by preserving their cash reserves while fueling brand acceleration through targeted media exposure. This enables startups to allocate their resources more efficiently, all while benefiting from premium advertising and media placements that might otherwise be out of reach, including Sinclair Broadcast Group, Televisa Univision, A E Global Networks, Entrepreneur Media, Atmosphere TV, Willow TV, and others. We foster a dynamic ecosystem that drives success for both media companies and startups by aligning their interests through our media-for-equity model. This approach ensures media companies have a vested interest in the growth and success of their partners.
Role Overview
The position to lead Venture Partnerships efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with venture capital, private equity, and accelerator ecosystems globally. The primary objective of this role is to drive a consistent flow of strategic introductions aligned with MMC’s investment thesis.
This is not a traditional investment role. It’s a strategic, outward-facing position focused on relationship-building, ecosystem engagement, and supporting portfolio founders in their fundraising journeys. You’ll represent MMC across the venture landscape with insight, authenticity, and energy.
From attending industry events to organizing targeted founder-investor gatherings, you’ll help shape how MMC shows up in the market. You’ll also connect portfolio companies with relevant investors and collaborate with the investment team to ensure seamless follow-through and share insights from the field.
