Position: Biology Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$78/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Position: Biology Expert

Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on biology problems.
- Produce original problem sets using pathway diagrams, gel images, phylogenetic trees, and microscopy.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs and performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Must-Have
- PhD in Biology or related life science, or MS in Biology with 3 years research or industry experience, or BS in Biology with 5 years lab, field, or applied biology experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology.
- Comfortable with pathway diagrams, gel images, phylogenetic trees, and microscopy.
- Clear technical writing skills; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
