Job Description

Our Digital Human Health (DHH) team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of engaging, interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics and measuring the impact. The Associate Director of Global Marketing Engagement for influenza will lead development and delivery of data and analytics, generate strategic insights, and assist in addressing key business questions from the Vaccines Global Marketing team to inform current and future pipeline Vaccines asset and portfolio strategies.

This role works closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including global marketing, regional marketing, forecasting, market research, digital solutions, clinical, outcomes research, medical affairs, and functions within DHH.

This product has a high single to double digit annual $B sales expectation and will launch globally across the US and ex-US markets. Launch is currently planned for beginning 2029 and might be accelerated into 2028. This product will shape new ground with a market that doesn’t exist today, a new buying process to be defined, new treatment paradigm to shap, a new treatment platform and a new reimbursement path that needs to be established. The set of L3 early & L3 next deliverables will have to be developed in an accelerated way due to short timelines to launch.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio analytics: Lead development of commercial data and insights for Global influenza portfolio priorities. Conceptualize set of analytics capabilities and tools anchored to our marketing and launch frameworks to support decision making for Global influenze including patient insights, L3 early framework while focusing on our Company's experience.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams, DHH teams, and other cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development. Serve as the Insights & Analytics quarterback to address key business questions through digital, data and analytics capabilities.

  • Strategy Enablement: Lead Strategic Portfolio Reviews, Trimester Business Reviews (QBRs), Prioritization meetings, etc. Synthesize & document key trade-off decisions and DHH aspirations for executive audiences via active updates to ongoing inventory of projects/initiatives (Book of Work).

  • Analytics Delivery: Proactively manage project(s) delivery with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel-VBA, PowerBI or similar technologies and capabilities. Leverage a variety of patient modeling techniques including statistical, patient-flow, and simulations-based techniques for insight generation.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or business-related field

  • 5 years of relevant experience in insights & analytics, strategic planning, advanced analytics, market research, marketing or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

  • Strong communication skills using effective storytelling grounded on data insights

  • Comfortable formulating actionable insights and recommendations from commercial analytics into presentations

  • Deep understanding of Real-world data assets and commercial healthcare data ecosystem

  • Experience conducting secondary data analytics on large datasets using relevant skills

  • Relationship-building, problem solving and influencing skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Advanced degree (e.g. MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred

  • Experience in healthcare datasets, insights, and analytics

  • Experience in Life Science or consulting industry

  • Deep knowledge and expertise in the Global Life Sciences Analytics space: US and Ex-US datasets, market research, forecasting, advanced analytics, predictive analytics, competitive intelligence, etc.

  • Vaccines and/or Infectious Disease experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$156,900.00 - $247,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
