Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union (MSDFCU) is seeking a service-oriented, sales-minded professional to join our Harleysville Branch as a Universal Banker.

In this role, you'll be the face of the Credit Union, helping members with their day-to-day banking needs while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and provide meaningful financial solutions. What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional member service in every interaction
- Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts
- Conduct member needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services
- Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist members with consumer loans, including auto, personal, and home equity loans
- Prepare loan documentation and conduct loan closings
- Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service options
- Resolve member concerns with professionalism and follow-through
- Generate referrals and identify opportunities to strengthen member relationships
- Contribute to branch sales, service, and operational goals

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry
- Cash handling experience
- Strong sales, referral, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration in accordance with SAFE Act requirements
Preferred
- Experience opening consumer deposit accounts
- Consumer lending experience
- Credit union experience
- Knowledge of spreadsheet software
