Position Overview

We are seeking a Universal Banker to join our team! This full-time, customer-facing role combines teller responsibilities with platform banking services. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and is passionate about helping members enhance their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities

•    Member Service: Provide exceptional service by greeting members warmly, resolving issues, and ensuring each member feels valued.

•    Account Services: Open new accounts, process transactions, and provide information about our products and services to meet members' financial needs.

•    Loan Originations: Process loan applications, review credit reports, and assist in closing loans (auto, home equity, personal).

•    Member Education: Advise and educate members on financial products, such as loans, IRAs, and share certificates, helping them make informed decisions for their financial future.

•    Teller Duties: Handle cash transactions and process member deposits/withdrawals with accuracy.

•    Problem Solving: Address member inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

•    Team Collaboration: Contribute to Balance Score Card goals and support team objectives.

Position Requirements

•    Education: High School Diploma (required)

•    Experience: 2 years in financial services or customer service, with cash handling experience

•    Skills:

• Strong sales and communication skills
• Comfortable with technology and using banking systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

•   Licenses/Certifications: NMLS registration required (or ability to acquire upon hire)
