Your Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute full-cycle production, purification, and monitoring of chemical compounds using laboratory equipment and distributed control systems to meet strict MilliporeSigma customer demands.
- Charge solids, liquids, and gases to production vessels, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and utilize material handling equipment (pallet mules) for safe staging and destaging.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex day-to-day packaging and production malfunctions, taking swift corrective action upon approval to minimize operational downtime.
- Perform in-process analytical testing with simple data interpretations, accurately logging all information into lab notebooks and batch records following strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Utilize intermediate SAP knowledge to execute critical logistics functions, including entering work hours into PI sheets, managing material movements, and handling bills of materials.
- Actively foster a proactive safety and inclusive culture by identifying unsafe conditions, participating in incident investigations, and documenting actionable preventive suggestions.
- Champion 6S and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency, eliminate waste, and contribute directly to department goals.
- Verify the quality and integrity of all materials and equipment, while proactively suggesting necessary revisions or drafting new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm.

- While performing job functions, employee will sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch or crawl for long periods of time
- Will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or other Life Science discipline.
- Strong communication skills verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Basic math skills, including using the metric system.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
- Ability to learn how to use manual and automated equipment.
