• Electronic daily logs, incident reports, and round system with GPS verification

About the Role:

The Guard position is essential for maintaining safety and security within the designated area in Metairie, LA. This role involves monitoring premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities, ensuring a safe environment for both employees and visitors. Guards will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and reporting any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities. The ultimate goal is to create a secure atmosphere that fosters peace of mind for all individuals present. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of the facility and its operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and security technology.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
