The Maintenance Mechanic Helper supports the maintenance team by assisting in the repair, upkeep, and installation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and grow within a skilled trade environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
- Operate the Wastewater treatment plant (Full training will be provided)
- Transport tools, parts, and materials to job sites.
- Help with equipment installations and disassembles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support emergency maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments (hot, cold, noisy).
- Previous experience in a maintenance or industrial setting is a plus.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
