What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer Full-Time Swing Shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm position at Merchant Patrol Security Services Inc/MPSS?
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional unarmed security officer with experience. Desirable qualities are someone who is comfortable working in a mental health/therapeutic environment, you are responsible for the security and order of buildings, grounds, or property. You will patrol assigned areas examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are properly secured. Daily interactions with public and enforcing client policy.
What you will be doing:
Patrolling/monitoring properties,
Providing an exceptional customer experience by communicating with public,
Enforcing site-specific directives,
Controlling access and data entry on guests. Monitoring Security cameras.
Coordinating with law enforcement when needed,
Maintaining high visibility and attentiveness to details.
Using therapeutic methods to resolves client related security issues.
Qualifications:
This position will require regular physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and inclines.
Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or GED, and a clear criminal record over the past 7 years.
Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat,
Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds,
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift,
Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
Preferred: Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel.
