Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, organized POS Manager to lead our Point-of-Sale operations and support team. This role is responsible for overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and performance of POS systems across our merchant network. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, leadership experience, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll manage a team of technicians and coordinators while collaborating with sales, support, and product teams to ensure smooth installations and ongoing service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all POS system installations, configurations, and upgrades
· Manage a team of POS support staff and technicians, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
· Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and merchant concerns
· Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to streamline equipment logistics and inventory
· Develop training materials and conduct onboarding sessions for merchants and internal staff
· Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and user experience
· Maintain documentation of installations, service requests, and troubleshooting procedures
· Stay current on POS technology trends and recommend new solutions to improve efficiency
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience managing POS systems or technical operations in merchant services or retail technology
· Strong understanding of POS hardware, software, and integration with payment gateways
· Proven leadership and team management skills
· Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
· Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
