We're looking for a strategic thinker to join our quotations team in our Wichita office.

What you'll be doing:

• Working in a team environment to analyze and bid jobs based on a tight timeline.
• Preparing budget estimates to meet clients' lighting/lighting controls needs.
• Problem solving while accurately utilizing, maintaining and tracking project data.
• Communicating regularly with our inside/outside sales force to understand and remain up-to-date on the requirements of each project.
• Closing orders.
• Assisting with inside sales activities such as order entry/tracking/project management as needed.

The ideal candidate will bring to the party:

• Construction industry knowledge and experience reading project documents, including drawings, schedules and submittals.
• The ability to work on a strict timeline and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
• A team-first attitude.
• Integrity and honesty - someone who builds trust with team members and clients by adhering to the motto, "Do the Right Thing"
• A competitive spirit and drive to get things done.
• An understanding of lighting fixtures and lighting controls technology is a plus, but not a deal-breaker.
