What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations - Developmental Disabilities position at Mercer Residential Services Inc?
Job Purpose:
Serves as the Chief Executive Officer's deputy for the overall operations of the agency, and may be assigned responsibility to assist the Chief Executive Officer in the overall administration and operation of agency activities and financial management.
Duties:
Assist with onboarding and training of all agency personnel; Policy Interpretations; Services and Program implementation, leading the Program Team and the preparation and response to DODD compliance and other regulatory representatives. Responsible for all quality assurance related internal audits in adherence with regulatory standards. Monitor day-to-day delivery of services and maintain or improve quality. Provide de-escalation training to employees utilizing approved program Responsible for incident management including coordinating the investigation of all MUI incidents involving residents and other program participants. Complete annual MUI analysis. Perform representative payee duties. Assist with setting up new services.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from certified university or college. Degrees accepted: RN, social worker, dietician, psychology, special education, physical education, speech-language pathologist, audiologist, physical therapist, sociology or rehabilitation counseling and 1 or more years experience working with individuals with developmental / intellectual disabilities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience supervising employees. Must be a team leader, demonstrate good time management & good organizational skills, be able to make independent decisions that are consistent with company policies as well as State and Federal regulations. People oriented. Wage depending on education and experience.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test. Must be willing to comply with agency's drug free policy.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
