Job Summary

The Ranger position provides customer service that is central to the GolfCave experience from the beginning to the end of each customer's visit. Rangers sell memberships, register new customers, book sessions, prepare Caves for customers, troubleshoot simulator issues, and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility.

Rangers often work independently, so we are looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable managing the facility without direct supervision.

This is a part-time position primarily focused on weekend coverage, averaging approximately 6–18 hours per week. Regular Saturday and/or Sunday availability is required, with Sunday availability being especially important. Additional weekday evening shifts may occasionally be available.

Staffed facility hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–9:00 PM, and Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Greet customers and members and provide tours to first-time visitors
• Answer phone calls and return missed calls
• Book and upsell tee times
• Register new customers, create customer profiles, and create CaveKeys (24/7 access cards)
• Sell memberships, assist with membership questions and account updates, and process cancellation requests
• Sell and upsell gift cards
• Set up Caves with customer profiles before customers arrive
• Walk customers to their Caves and assist them with getting started on the simulators
• Check in with customers during their sessions as needed
• Troubleshoot basic simulator and technology issues
• Stay informed about current promotions and communicate them to customers
• Open and close the facility according to established procedures
• Clean and reset Caves between tee times
• Clean and maintain bathrooms and common areas throughout the shift
• Restock supplies as needed
• Remain attentive and productive during slower periods while maintaining a clean and welcoming facility

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Regular weekend availability is required, with Sunday availability strongly preferred
• Experience or familiarity with golf is preferred but not required
• Previous customer service experience is preferred
• Comfortable with computers and learning new technology
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Comfortable completing routine cleaning and facility upkeep responsibilities
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Must provide documentation of legal U.S. residency

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
