What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher at The Learning Experience position at Mercer County Early Childhood Education Shared Services Alliance?
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift with 1 hour lunch break
Compensation: $17-$19, depending on education and experience
We are seeking a patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic teacher to work with our 2.5 to 3-year-old classroom at The Learning Experience Hamilton! In this classroom, we are supporting children through important developmental milestones including potty training, language growth, and social-emotional development.

Duties
- Provide a warm, safe, and structured environment for young preschoolers
- Support and encourage children during the potty-training process with consistency and positivity
- Implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
- Help children develop independence, routines, and self-help skills
- Maintain clear communication with families about daily progress and milestones
- Work collaboratively with teaching partners and leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Experience working with toddlers or young preschoolers (preferred)
- Patience, flexibility, and a caring approach
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of toddler development and positive guidance techniques
- Flexible hours
- CPR/First Aid certification
