Job Overview

Salary Range: $105 -$110K

Conduct Technical Training courses for dealer and MBUSA internal personnel responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Improve customer satisfaction by assuring a highly trained and technically proficient service and parts organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned technical training courses, developing and /or revising training guides and lesson plans to tailor materials to varied audiences, maintaining the highest standards for quality, innovation and client focus.
• Assist curriculum developers with development of course curriculum and training materials.
• Present special training and/or technician recruitment programs to vocational schools, related MB organizations, parts and service clubs.
• Contribute instructional and technical expertise in the development and maintenance of various factory service publications.
• Acquire and maintain a high level of competency in the service and repair skills necessary to service and troubleshoot MB products.
• Evaluate student performance and conduct proficiency testing.
• Complete training reports with recommendations on development paths, if required.
• Maintain and update Education Center facility and equipment. This would include training vehicles, workshop and test equipment, hand and special tools, training aids, diagnostic equipment, and literature libraries.
  
  

Qualifikationen

Qualifications

• (accredited school) or equivalent work experience
• Must have 5 - 7 years (total) of experience in the following:
• Automotive-Retail --> General Knowledge of retail processes and procedures, with emphasis in New and Pre-owned sales, accessories, service and parts.
• Automotive - Technical --> Proficient Knowledge of automotive technical information systems and repair/diagnostic procedures.
• Communications Planning --> General Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques, marketing plan development process, strategic and creative integration techniques, marketing team organization and operational processes.
• Education --> Comprehensive Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, including adult learning theory, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
