As the Title Clerk, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Verifies data, completes state forms, makes disbursement for taxes and fees, and submits to the county tax office
- Processes new car and preowned registrations and title transfers on dealer's software system
- Working with out of state registration companies
- Process wholesale titles for auction sales
- Prepares and distributes license stickers and registrations
- Maintains follow-up on all incoming titles
- Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax, title and license
- Prepare VIT report monthly
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of the title processes with the TX-Department of Motor Vehicles
- Experience with Web Dealer and AIB preferred
- Knowledge of forms used by the TX Department of Motor Vehicles including 130U's, POA, and title applications
- Strong interpersonal skills that include courtesy and tact with internal and external clients
- Passion for accuracy with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must be very organized
