Automotive Office Manager
Mercedes-Benz of Santa Rosa & Smothers European Volvo Cars is a privately held, family-owned Santa Rosa, CA-based company that has been in business for over 44 years. We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team who has strong automotive accounting skills, leadership skills, is highly organized, and is dedicated to providing support to our team and clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including accounting, payroll, and DMV title functions.
- Supervise, train, and support and administrative staff of 4.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer support.
- Complete monthly financial statements and reporting to the manufactures.
- Work closely with the ownership and department managers to support business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze variances.
- Supervise bank reconciliations and account payable & receivables.
- Assist in preparation of budgets and reports for various departments and projects as requested by management.
- Assist in preparation of journal entries for month-end close process including month-end reconciliations for all departments.
- Train on CDK and Tekion accounting functions.
- Supervise California sales tax payments and returns.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required or related field required.
·Proven 3- 5 years’ office experience in the automotive field.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dealership management software.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
