Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based at Mercedes-Benz of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, AZ. The Finance Manager will guide guests through the vehicle financing and leasing process, present available finance and protection products, and secure approvals with lenders while ensuring compliance with all legal and dealership policies. This role will prepare and review all necessary paperwork and contracts, verify accuracy of pricing and terms, and coordinate closely with the sales team to provide a seamless purchase experience. The Finance Manager will maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, monitor lender programs and rates, and recommend options that align with guests’ needs and budgets. Additional responsibilities include managing deal funding, maintaining accurate records, supporting reporting and forecasting for the finance department, and contributing to a guest-centric, ethical, and high-performance dealership culture.
Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with automotive finance, lending practices, loan and lease structures, and deal funding.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), finance and insurance (F&I) software, and standard office tools (e.g., MS Excel, Word) to process deals and maintain accurate records.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to automotive finance, including privacy, disclosure, and fair lending practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to explain finance options clearly, build trust with guests, and collaborate effectively with sales and service teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation, multiple deals in progress, and time-sensitive funding requirements.
- Prior experience as an F&I Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role in an automotive dealership environment preferred.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, guest-focused retail environment with a commitment to ethical practices and a luxury brand experience.
