Our Appointment Coordinator/Loaner Clerk, also called BDC Specialist, help support the dealership by answering service calls, scheduling service appointments and managing our loaner vehicle fleet. We are looking for a team player, with strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Duties
- Coordinate and confirm customer service appointments via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely scheduling that meets both customer needs and dealership capacity.
- Manage loaner vehicle inventory by tracking, updating records, and performing manual handling of vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain accurate data entry in dealership management systems, including customer information, appointment details, and inventory records.
- Communicate effectively with customers and service staff to facilitate smooth operations and address inquiries with professional phone etiquette.
- Oversee the organization of loaner vehicles by entering or removing loaner vehicles into TSD software when necessary.
- Signing loaner vehicles out to clients and checking them in upon return.
- Conduct periodic maintenance checks on loaner vehicles to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or public speaking is preferred to confidently engage with customers and promote dealership services.
- Strong organizational skills with a background in administrative tasks such as data entry, inventory management, or retail math.
- Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz Netstar, TSD loaner and MyKaarma software is helpful.
- Excellent communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette to foster positive customer relationships.
- Reliable attendance
Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants are also required to have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Other requirements include completing and passing both a background and drug test as a condition of employment.
