TITLE:  LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER – CLASS C – BOX TRUCKPay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearJob description:About the RoleWe are currently looking for a highly motivated full-time professional box truck delivery driver to join our team. This position is full time with 6th day opportunities for our growing fleet. Deliveries are made to businesses in LA, OC, Ventura and San Bernardino counties. We are located in Commerce, CA and typically dispatch between 6-8am daily.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate 20–26 ft. box trucks to deliver product via liftgate and electric pallet jack to local businessesOperate with customer service as the highest priority behind safetyFollow all traffic and safety regulations without exceptionStack cases of waters, drinks, chips, and candy on a dolly regularly for deliveryLift and move boxes weighing up to 60 poundsPerform simple math calculations such as subtraction and addition after verifying customers’ productUse handheld scanners to verify product upon delivery and to navigate to your stopsCollaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experienceJob QualificationsLicense & Driving Record:Must have a valid Class C driver’s licenseMust have a safe driving record for the past 5 yearsExperience:Per our insurance carrier’s requirements, must be at least 23 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experienceBox truck driving experience preferred (min 2 years)Cash Handling Experience RequiredElectric pallet jack and lift gate experience preferredSkills & Competencies:Strong professionalism, dependability, and customer service skillsEffective communication and organization abilitiesBasic reading, writing, and math skillsEducation & Language:High school diploma or equivalent requiredProficiency in English requiredSee What It's Like to Work With Us!Check out a day in the life of our drivers:Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance Work Location: On the road Powered by JazzHRHkb2RDxIrh
