Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dining room activities to support efficient restaurant service.
- Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and dining room flow.
- Welcome guests and assist with seating and general inquiries.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and service needs to appropriate team members.
- Coordinate with hosts and servers to balance workloads and maintain timely service.
- Monitor table availability, dining room capacity, and guest wait times.
- Assist with reservations, guest arrivals, and special dining arrangements as needed.
- Ensure tables and service stations are properly prepared before service.
- Monitor dining areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
- Coordinate table clearing and resetting between guests.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to help manage service timing and special requests.
- Address routine guest concerns professionally and refer complex issues to management.
- Maintain accurate seating records and reservation information when required.
- Restock menus, utensils, napkins, and other dining room supplies.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily dining room preparation procedures.
- Report staffing needs, equipment issues, and operational concerns to management.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, hosting, or dining room coordination experience preferred.
