Courier - On-Call

Mercantile Bank is seeking an organized, timely, and service-oriented On-Call Courier to join our Lansing, MI area team.

Core Responsibilities

• Make timely and efficient deliveries between Mercantile Bank locations.


• Must be available to work Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm when needed. Since this is an on-call position there could be stretches when you wouldn't work at all.

A Look into Your Day

While using a company-owned vehicle safely deliver and pick-up various documents for Bank customers and internal employees between Mercantile branch locations.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Requires a clean driving record.


• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. when necessary.


• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform the essential functions.


• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


• Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills


• Attention to detail and organizational skills


• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines

Working hours are between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. This person would be traveling from Lansing to our Troy and Wyoming offices.
