Electronics Technician

Duties

• Perform on-site field service visits to install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment across diverse environments.
• Use hand tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments to identify faults in electronic systems.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electronic devices, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely within low voltage parameters.
• Repair and replace components in computer hardware systems and electronic assemblies to restore full functionality.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of computer networking equipment to support system connectivity.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble equipment during repairs or upgrades.

Experience

• Proven service technician experience working with electronic or computer hardware systems in field environments.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting using hand tools and diagnostic instruments like ohmmeters.
• Familiarity with reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for complex electronic systems.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and safety procedures related to electronics servicing.
• Experience working with computer networking hardware or systems is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.50 per hour
